Website Returns & Refunds

American Sale is committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent return process for our customers. Please review the following guidelines carefully.

 

General Return Guidelines

  • Return Window: All returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving your merchandise.
  • Approval & Restocking Fee: American Sale reserves the right to approve or decline any return. Approved returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Order Information: Please provide your original order number with all return requests.
  • Condition of Items: Returned merchandise must be in new condition and in its original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items
  • Holiday Merchandise: All sales on Christmas items are final as of December 15th. No returns or exchanges will be accepted after this date—no exceptions.
  • Pool Liners: Must remain in unopened original packaging to be eligible for return or exchange.
  • Final Sale Items:
    • Closeout Pool Liners
    • Chemicals
    • Clearance, Display, and Tent Sale items
  • International Orders: Returns are not accepted for international shipments.


 

Order Cancellations & Refused Deliveries

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been processed for shipping.
  • Do not refuse delivery. Customers are responsible for shipping fees both to and from the delivery address if an order is refused.


 

Return Methods

  1.  Download the American Sale Online Return Form Here
  2.  Return the product in its original packaging, in new and unused condition to our return center within 15 days of receipt.
  3.  Include the invoice and circle the item(s) being returned.

  • Note: Refunds must be processed through our Internet Department. Stores can assist with even product exchanges only.

If Returning for Other Reasons:

  • Ship to the return address provided using a trackable method (UPS, FedEx, or Insured Parcel Post recommended).
  • Buyer assumes all shipping costs. Do not send items COD; they will not be accepted.
  • Exchanges will be processed using standard shipping methods.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified of approval or rejection.
  • If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original payment method within a few business days (processing time may vary by bank).
Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account.
  2. Contact your credit card company (posting times may vary).
  3. Contact your bank for additional processing details.
